I have read the book. It is Excellent and I will recommend others. However, the story sounds like of Tesfamariam Gedela which I am sure is known be Lola herself. Tesfamariam was an Eritrean who was working in the Italian Consulate in Djibuty before the war broke out. Some say that he disappeared from the consulate when he was suspected to have passed important documents to the Ethiopian government. Again some say he was passing the information directly to the the king, others, however, state that he was sending the documents to Lorenzo Tazaz, who was then in Eden, and who in turn pass the material to the king. In line with Wochale agreement, the Italians were asking the Ethiopian government to hand Tesfamariam over to the colonial administration in Asmara as he was a criminal and an Italian subject. However, the king denied the presence of the man in Ethiopia. However, truh was that Tesfamariam was hiding in Sidamo protected by Ras Desta Damtew until the war broke out. The war historian, Siefu Aba Wollo, in his book, Ye Tarik Qirs, states that Tesfamariam Gedela, the Eritrean, has participated in the battle of Qoleyem, in southern front, against Graziani. In fact, since he was speaking Italian he was closely working with the leader, Ras Desta. Graziani lost this war. After the war he got a lot of reward from the king and working in the Ministry of pen until his untimely death way before the Eritrean question started to be discussed in the UN.
